  I have had numerous problems with Avidia bank since opening an account with them. Most recently my bank account said i had no money after depositing more than enough. I called in and the person i spoke to took 10 minutes to try and find out why i didnt have money after doing the math and figuring out there should have been a lot more than 0.00. It turns out after clearing my check (it was cleared since my account reflected the whole ammount deposited not the 200.00 that they give you until the check clears.) So i use my card and part of my payment goes through while its telling me the other half i have to pay for. I called in and the guy didnt know why i had no money in my account he stated he didnt understand. After going through my account for 10 minutes he comes back and says after clearing the money they put a hold on it with absolutely NO reason why and that i shouldnt worry because the money will be available within the next 48 hours. They have a serious lack of communication with their customers. They will let you go negative for a week without sending you a notice or calling you and tell you its of no fault but your own. They will tell you your checks have cleared and that they money is good to use then 2 days later take they money, force you to go negative and charge you for going negative after telling you it was ok and cleared to use the money. I have other accounts with different banks and have never had an issue with them so im just going to close my avidia account and wash my hands of this nonsense.
